Racial profiling is defined as “the use of race or ethnicity as grounds for suspecting someone of having committed an offense . “ (Oxford Languages). We chose this topic because, we think it is important to be aware about the injustices that are being made towards minorities and targeted ethnics. Historically, we can notice about the pervasive bias and judgements the law has related to origin or skin color, when a law is violated.
This type of situations, has been having several repercussions politically, for example the awakening of society related to different movements and festivities that remind us to stay away from racial profiling, such as: “Black History Month” “Juneteenth” and the “Black Lives Matter” & “All Lives Matter” movements.
